Supervising human resources programs, policies, and department staff;
Ensuring compliance with company and departmental policies, governmental legislation;
Employee staffing: recruiting, sourcing, screening, testing, interviewing, reference checking, training, new hire orientation;
Administrating employee programs for pay, benefits, 402(k), paid time off, workers compensation;
Training department staff on company timekeeping and HR/Payroll systems;
Assisting in the development of policies and procedures.

EDUCATION: 4-year degree preferred.

4+ years of experience in Human Resources, with 2+ years of experience in a lead or supervisory role preferred;
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, successfully engages with individuals at all levels of authority;
Knowledge and skills in leadership, problem solving, and planning;
Ability to maintain confidential information;
Computer literate in MS Office, timekeeping, and HRIS.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
