Performing environmental testing of products by following company, customer, industry and regulatory standards and specifications;
Monitoring the progress of testing and measuring outcomes;
Reviewing and evaluating the results of testing, ensuring completeness and accuracy;
Documenting and reporting the results and analysis;
Assisting in or performing troubleshooting of defective equipment.
EDUCATION: 2-year degree preferred; Engineering, Industrial Technology or related disciplines preferred.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
o 2
years of experience in a related position with a 2-year degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology or related discipline;
o OR: 4
years of experience in a related position with a High School diploma or GED;
o Automotive industry experience preferred;
o Strong knowledge and experience of lab and environmental test equipment;
o Knowledge and understanding of SPC preferred;'
o Technical and mechanical skills;
o Analysis and problem solving skills;
o Good interpersonal, communication and computer skills.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
