Responsibilities:
- Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians in providing care for animals - Perform animal restraint during examinations and procedures - Handle dogs and other animals with care and compassion - Clean and maintain kennels, exam rooms, and equipment - Monitor and record vital signs of animals - Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians - Assist with animal catheterization and sample collection - Provide basic grooming services such as bathing and nail trimming - Educate pet owners on proper pet care and nutrition Skills:
- Veterinary assistant experience preferred - Proficient in animal restraint techniques - Knowledge of animal physiology and behavior - Familiarity with aseptic technique for surgical procedures - Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments - Experience in dog training or pet sitting is a plus - Strong communication skills to effectively interact with pet owners - Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately This is an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about animal care to work alongside experienced veterinarians and make a positive impact on the well-being of pets.
