Job Description:
Hours:
Monday - Friday; full-time with benefits Late night:
one night a week minimium (each person has a late night to cover) Answer multiple phone lines - taking messages from patients, and making appointments Checking patients in/out, making return appointments, scheduling referrals, and outpatient tests, and patient account updates.
Keying in office charges which include doctor's visits, labs, shots, etc.
Receiving patient payments, patient account collections & insurance verification.
Medical Records includes filing charts, fax inbox mgmt, sending medical records, etc.
Cross train as a medical assistant Benefits after a 3-month probationary period:
Health Insurance (BC AL) paid in full for employee Life Insurance paid in full for employee one-time Scrub allowance PTO (1st year - 96 hours / 2nd year onward - 136 hours); will accrue during the probation period 6 paid holidays (will be paid for if holiday falls within the probation period) can elect to participate in the retirement plan after one year Hourly Rate:
