AMCOR is searching for a motived and high performing individual to fill the plant manager role.
This person will be the key point of contact for the Florence site to the business, reporting to the Director of Operations.
It is essential for the plant manager to have strong interpersonal skills and problem solving capabilities.
Mechanical aptitude is also essential as this person is responsible for the mechanical integrity and reliability of all equipment on site.
Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of plant operations, including production, maintenance, quality control, and safety.
Responsible for the hiring and development of a small team of production associates.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the plant.
Develop and maintain equipment strategies to ensure plant reliability.
Coordinate production planning and scheduling to ensure timely delivery of products.
Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and regulatory agencies.
Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Proven experience in plant management or related role.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a small team.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
Experience with heavy industrial equipment a plus.
