Providing leadership, planning, technical direction, communication and management for a large (700
employee), non-union facility;
Leading the plant HR staff on policy and procedure, recruiting, employee relations, and labor laws;
Assisting the plant HR staff on the implementation of new and revised policies and procedures;
Training corporate management, plant management, and plant HR staff regarding new and revised policy and procedures;
Monitoring local employee relations to identify trends, issues, or problems and assisting with addressing the issues;
Working within the plant HR office location.

EDUCATION: 4-year degree required.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
12
years of Human Resources experience in a manufacturing environment;
5
years of experience in a management position;
Non-union experience in a 700
employee environment;
Knowledge of employment and labor law;
Leadership, coaching and mentoring skills;
Project Management, problem solving, and decision making skills;
Proficiency in standard business software including MS Office.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
